Some of my friends and family, despite me coming out and using different name and pronouns several years ago, are still to this day referring to me as my dead name (former name), and they are still very stubbornly referring to me using masculine terms as well, such as "he", "him", "sir", "mister", "man", "dude", "bro", "brother", and so on. This hurts me a lot, it's like being repeatedly stabbed in the chest. I been too nice and lenient with them for way too long, for several years, in fact. but now I must be a bit more assertive in enforcing my name and pronoun change. I would really appreciate it if they started using feminine terms instead when referring to me, such as "she", "her", "ma'am", "madam", "miss", "woman", "sis", "sister", and other feminine terms, as well as my proper name, which is very obviously "Kimberly", but it can be shortened to "Kim", which I don't mind.
